Veterinary Behavior Nurse
The Veterinary Behavior Technician conducts treatment appointments with patients including guiding clients and patients through behavioral therapies, receiving client reports on patient progress and providing instruction on treatment. These appointments are conducted independently as both in clinic appointments and in home appointments, under the direction of the attending clinician. Additionally, the Veterinary Behavior Technician assists in doctor appointments, including low stress handling, phlebotomy and scribing. The Technician also assists with administrative responsibilities, appointment preparation, client communication via emails and phone calls, record keeping, educational events, appointment scheduling, social media, inventory, and more.

Experience prerequisites:
-
KPA-CTP, Jean Donaldson Academy for Dog Trainers CTC certification (2 year program) or equivalent experience and/or active enrollment in one of these programs

Prior experience working as a veterinary assistant or technician

Prior experience working one-on-one with clients and their pets using positive reinforcement training techniques
-
Skilled at phlebotomy

Client Experience Rockstar
The Client Experience Rockstar is the interface of the practice to ensure our clients have the experience we intend working with us. We believe strongly that every contact point with our practice should leave the client feeling supported and cared for and the Client Experience Rockstar bears a huge impact on the success of this mission. We are looking for someone who would like to believe in what they are doing and take ownership and pride in helping our clients have a top rate experience, as well as ensuring business functions go smoothly. Responsibilities include: appointment scheduling, explanation of our services, fielding phone calls and emails, record keeping, communicating with referring veterinary practices and trainers, administrative responsibilities and more. Additional responsibilities may be assigned based off skill set and experience.

Experience prerequisites:
-
Prior experience working as a client service representative, receptionist, client care representative, administrative assistant or similar in a veterinary practice is strongly preferred. Other reception experience, especially in other healthcare fields, considered as well.

High School education or equivalent
